After graduating as a top student from both VCC’s Baking & Pastry Arts and Baking & Pastry Management programs, Emily launched herself into the baking industry and started her own business: When Pigs Fly Pastries.
Since opening, she has provided hundreds of cakes and countless cupcakes to parties, weddings, corporate events, and more. A detail-oriented cake artist, Emily produces intricate and unique creations that help make each event one to remember. Her artistry has been featured in many publications, including Real Weddings, Wedluxe, Weddingbells, Nouveau, and The Refinery Magazine. Emily also works as a Food Stylist for local film & TV productions, and was selected to compete on the Food Network & Cooking Channel.
Combining her innovation, creativity and perfectionism, Emily is a savvy baker and the key to adding an extra punch to any celebration. A lover of sparkle, magic and overall fun, she can bring an idea to life in the form of a delicious and dramatic edible creation.
